Alrighty! I’m so excited to announce that my new book, The Trail Provides: A Boy’s Memoir of Thru-Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, is now available for purchase on Amazon in both digital and paperback formats!
05.01.19 Edit: The audiobook is now live too!
It’s the story of my hike of the PCT back in 2015 and the lessons learned along the way. I hope you enjoy it!
Usually, I release podcast episodes every Wednesday where I interview friends and acquaintances about their beliefs, stories, and passions, but today is a special day. That’s because the book is finally live and cookin’!
There’s a lot I could say here about all that has happened to allow this to happen, but I think the book speaks for itself. Inside those pages is where you’ll find the stories, acknowledgments, and hopefully, some laughs and inspiration along the way.
Real quick though, before we get into this week’s show, I’d like to say that now that the book is available, this present moment is the best possible time to take action.
Specifically, I’d love your support in 1) purchasing the book, 2) spreading the word, and 3) leaving an honest review after you finish reading. Each is a critical step to help an indie author be seen in the massive ocean that is the Amazon online bookstore.
Purchase the book today.
Thank you for your support and consideration… now onto the show!
So, I figured that since you enjoy listening to audio, I would do my best to adapt to the audio format for your listening pleasure. I am far from being a professional voice actor, but this week’s episode features yours truly reading Chapter One of The Trail Provides. I then speak some words about the book. Voice acting / Reading was a much more difficult task than I had anticipated, and I had to chug a lot of water, but I had fun doing it. I hope you’re able to bear my voice. Enjoy, and I’d love to know what you think!
